Storm Water Management Workshops for Construction, Industrial and Municipal Professionals September 21 – 25, 2020
I will be a presenter at the upcoming Storm Water Awareness Week (SWAW) workshops from Sept. 21-25th. This series of workshops will benefit professionals working in construction, industrial and municipal sectors throughout California. This is a great opportunity to learn about new tools and techniques for storm water management and compliance at no charge. This is also a good opportunity to earn professional development credits and network! The workshops are being hosted virtually via zoom by knowledgeable industry experts throughout California. In this workshop, learn about the many benefits of compost utilization for storm water management. In addition, I will be presenting statewide research and CalTrans Case Studies.

“Myths Associated with Compost Nutrient Release in Storm Water Run-off” on 9/25/2020 at 12:00 – 1:00 PM
In this workshop, learn why the quality of your compost matters and how to utilize it to manage storm water. I will also share the science behind “organic” nitrogen and how compost best management practices are helping to improve water quality and the ecosystem that relies on it.
