Virtual Carbon Farming Event with Live Panel Discussion on Wednesday October 14, 2020
Join the Resource Conservation District’s Agriculture Team to learn about carbon farming practices, crop yields, soil organic matter, and farm resilience. Presentations will also be given on soil types and amending sandy soil with compost to build soil structure. This event will highlight the role of compost in creating healthy soil environments for optimum plant growth as well as Carbon Sequestration of Greenhouse Gases to help cool the planet.
