San Pasqual Valley Soils has already moved and spread more than 30,000 cubic yards of 1383-compliant compost and mulch for San Diego County jurisdictions! That’s more than most jurisdictions in the county are required to procure annually. How’s your city doing? If you’re struggling to meet procurement targets, we have a wide array of services to help.

Forage Soil is a special blend of compost formulated to enhance farmland in the San Pasqual Valley Agricultural Preserve and grow crops for the last remaining dairy in San Diego County. This product is available for onsite land application only and jurisdictions pay just $10/cubic yard for the material and spreading with savings on product cost, delivery and application. That’s only $14.50 per fully burdened SB 1383 ton credit.

With management of more than 700 acres of farm and ranchland in San Diego County, we have this in-house farming capacity to improve soil and the local watershed with compost while helping your jurisdiction meet 1383 procurement goals.
